"Each and every one of us are responsible for our actions, and in the bid to be our true selves, we never quite know to what extents our actions affect others one way or another, be they intentional or not, an that is truly out of our control. 
However it's my opinion, that whatever one does and whatever choices one makes, if one is still able to look one's self an the mirror and not be disgusted or ashamed at who stares back, then one is most like likely alright. Regardless of the thoughts and feelings of otheres.
so the painting is a sort of reminder that in all we do, we must always strive to make sure that after the facts, we're still able look at ourselves in the mirror with no shame."
